InZOI Director Confirms Community's Wishlisted Features

Authore: AllisonUpdate:May 19,2025

This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year with a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before embarking on their holiday, the project lead, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, took the opportunity to share some exciting updates about the game's future features. These updates are in response to the wishlist crafted by the game's eager fanbase, shedding light on what players can expect and to what extent these features will be implemented.

One of the standout features coming to InZOI is the ability to use real facial capture technology for crafting zois. This feature, which was highlighted during summer announcements as highly convenient, is set to be further simplified to enhance the user experience. Kjun's vision is to make the process of creating zois as seamless as possible, allowing players to bring their unique characters to life with ease.

Another much-anticipated feature is the inclusion of pets in the game. While fans will have to wait a bit longer as this feature won't be available during the early access phase, it's clear that the developers are committed to enriching the InZOI world with these furry companions. Kjun, being an animal lover himself, is particularly excited about this addition.

In terms of the game's environment, InZOI will feature tall buildings, but with a cap at 30 floors. Although the game engine can theoretically support higher constructions, this limitation has been set to ensure optimal performance and prevent any potential issues that could detract from the gaming experience.

For those looking forward to more interactive elements, the game will include gas stations and full-fledged fights. Kjun acknowledged that the initial slap mechanic felt too shallow based on player feedback. In response, the team has revamped this aspect to include comprehensive combat scenarios, complete with winners and losers, adding depth and excitement to the gameplay.

Recognizing that InZOI will attract many newcomers to the genre, the developers are also planning to include a tutorial. This thoughtful addition aims to ease new players into the game, making it accessible and enjoyable for everyone. This level of consideration from the development team certainly deserves praise.

As it stands, Krafton is gearing up to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently anticipated. The community's wishlist is being carefully considered, and it's clear that the team is dedicated to delivering a game that not only meets but exceeds player expectations.
