What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?

The centerpiece of Sandlord is the Cloud Oasis, a bustling city that you'll manage. You'll be tasked with gathering resources from the Netherrealm and transforming them into tangible benefits by allocating workers across five distinct professions. This strategic approach unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, blending traditional ARPG combat with elements of a strategy simulation.

The character Thea undergoes a dramatic transformation this season, evolving from a divine channeler into the Blasphemer. She now wields the power of desecration, inflicting Erosion Damage that intensifies over time, adding a darker edge to her abilities.

The Deep Space region has also been revamped, featuring five new stages teeming with monsters and survival challenges. Additionally, a new item called Probes has been introduced. These function similarly to Compasses but occupy their own slot, enhancing both the rewards and the difficulty of your adventures.

The endgame experience is enriched with the addition of new Legendary Stages. These rare stages offer unique loot setups that can significantly alter your gameplay strategy. Some zones break from tradition, like the Abyssal Vault, which contains no enemies but is packed with Mystery Chests ready for you to explore.

In contrast, the Sea of Rites presents a swarm of goblins that don’t attack. Defeating them, however, could lead to summoning a secret boss, adding an element of surprise and strategy. The Supreme Showdown introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both you and the bosses to transform enemies into treasure with the right hit.
