Недавние исследования показывают, что воздействие синего света перед сном может нарушить ваш естественный циркадный ритм и вызвать бессонницу.
Это происходит из-за фоточувствительного рецептора меланопсина в наших глазах, чувствительного к диапазону синего света 460-480 нм, который может подавлять выработку мелатонина — гормона, необходимого для здоровых циклов сна и бодрствования.
Исследования демонстрируют, что у людей, читающих с планшетов или смартфонов за несколько часов до сна, засыпание может задерживаться примерно на час.
Приложение Twilight адаптирует ваш экран к времени суток, фильтруя избыток синего света после заката и защищая ваши глаза с помощью мягкого красного фильтра. Интенсивность фильтра автоматически регулируется согласно солнечному циклу на основе местного времени восхода и заката.
Теперь также доступно для устройств с Wear OS.
Функциональность
1) Ночное чтение: Обеспечивает идеальный зрительный комфорт для чтения ночью, с возможностью уменьшения яркости ниже стандартного уровня устройства.
2) AMOLED-экраны: Протестировано в течение 5 лет на AMOLED-экранах без возникновения проблем с выгоранием. При правильной настройке может даже продлить срок службы экрана.
Как это работает
Приложение использует GPS для автоматического определения местного времени восхода и заката, постепенно регулируя цветовую температуру экрана, чтобы минимизировать воздействие синего света в ночное время.
