Sphere Defense: A Tower Defense Classic Reborn on Android

Tomnoki Studio's Sphere Defense is a fresh take on the tower defense genre, drawing clear inspiration from the beloved geoDefense. The developer, a longtime fan of the original, has recreated the simple yet challenging gameplay that made geoDefense a classic.

The Core Concept:

Earth, or "The Sphere," faces annihilation at the hands of alien invaders. Humanity, forced underground, has finally developed the technology to fight back. You lead the counteroffensive, deploying units and defending the planet.

Gameplay:

Sphere Defense faithfully delivers the classic tower defense experience. Players strategically position various units, each with unique strengths, to repel waves of enemies. Successful attacks earn resources for upgrades and expansion. The challenge increases significantly with higher difficulty levels.

Difficulty and Length:

Three difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard) are available, each featuring 10 stages. Expect each stage to last between 5 and 15 minutes. See the gameplay in action:

Diverse Unit Arsenal:

Seven distinct unit types provide strategic depth. Offensive units include the Standard Attack Turret (single-target), Area Attack Turret (area-of-effect), and Piercing Attack Turret (for linear enemy formations). Support units like the Cooling Turret and Incendiary Turret enhance offensive capabilities. Finally, specialized units such as the Fixed-Point Attack Unit (precise missile strikes) and Linear Attack Unit (satellite laser) offer unique tactical options.
