Clash of Clans Announces Major March 2025 Overhaul

Clash of Clans is preparing for a major update in March 2025, delivering a highly anticipated overhaul based on long-standing player feedback. This update introduces one of the game's most impactful changes yet, as several existing mechanics will soon be retired.

No Troop, Spell or Siege Machine Training Time!

You can now launch consecutive attacks without delays, creating faster and more fluid combat. Hero regeneration time has also been eliminated, allowing your heroes to rejoin battles instantly. These improvements apply to players in Titan League and below, while Legend League will maintain its daily limit of eight battles for the time being.

This transformation reflects Clash of Clans' ongoing effort to streamline outdated systems. After removing training costs in 2022, Supercell is now taking the next step by eliminating training times completely—empowering players to enjoy the game without unnecessary interruptions.

Along with these core changes, the March 2025 update includes several adjustments. Training Potions and Training Treats are being phased out as they are no longer useful. They will be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining items in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

There’s a New Match Anytime System!

When real player bases are unavailable, the new Match Anytime system lets you raid snapshot bases. These are preserved copies of bases belonging to shielded players.

These battles work just like standard raids—you can earn loot and trophies without the defender losing resources. While this system has already been used in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, it’s now being extended to multiplayer battles.

Another notable change involves Trophy Curves. With more frequent battles now possible, the number of trophies awarded per victory has been reduced. Clan Castle request timers are also being standardized to 10 minutes for all players.
