Jam City has launched pre-registration for Disney Magic Match 3D, a new mobile puzzle game created in partnership with Disney and Pixar Games. This title breaks away from matching flat tiles or candy-like icons, offering a fresh take on the genre.
So what exactly do you match?
The game centers its puzzles around three-dimensional collections of nostalgic Disney and Pixar memorabilia. Your goal is to sort, pair, and clear these items to restore harmony to the enchanted Book of Magic.
Disney Magic Match 3D incorporates classic match mechanics but weaves them into an engaging storyline. The magical Book of Magic has unleashed its contents into disarray, scattering artifacts from across Disney's rich history.
Players navigate through heaps of magical clutter, organizing objects and creating sets of three identical items to progressively restore order. Gather required items within the time limit, fill your collection tray with matching trios to clear them, and advance through each challenge.
You'll encounter beloved items including Moana's Heart of Te Fiti, Aladdin's legendary lamp, Woody's iconic boots from Toy Story, Mickey Mouse's gloves, Minnie Mouse's signature bow, and Donald Duck's distinctive hat. Successful level completion rewards players with stars that unlock valuable prizes such as coins, power-ups, and extra lives from both Star Chests and Level Chests.
The game presents a charming, vibrant 3D visual style reminiscent of chibi interpretations of classic Disney characters. Get a first look at the gameplay through the Disney Magic Match 3D pre-registration trailer featured below.
While Disney Magic Match 3D focuses on puzzle-solving, it also captures the satisfying experience of organization similar to games like Unpacking and Tetris-inspired organizers.
