Katana Dragon has officially launched on mobile. Developed by Tsunoa Games, an indie studio based in Alicante, it’s the team’s first release. In the game, they’ve blended Asian influences with European, particularly Spanish, culture.

So, what’s the story in Katana Dragon?

Set in the world of Sogen, a land cursed by an ancient evil, two unlikely heroes are needed. You step into the roles of ninjas Shin and Nobi, who suddenly find themselves caught in a struggle far greater than their original mission.

What begins as a simple task to deliver a gift soon spirals into a dangerous adventure. It all starts when their Sensei and everyone around them are turned into ghosts by a spreading curse.

With only Shin and Nobi untouched by the curse, they take on the burden of uncovering its mystery. Guided by their ghost Sensei, they journey across every corner of Sogen—from villages and towns to mountains and islands.

The tale stretches back a thousand years, when a dragon laid waste to Sogen until five monks sealed it within a glass prison using their Ki. Over time, the dragon broke free, and chaos returned.

A legendary swordsmith named Katamune forged the Katana Dragon from shards of the broken barrier, giving the young samurai Cideyasu the weapon he needed to confront the beast. Their victory brought no lasting peace—only a temporary reprieve.

The adventure leads you through hand-crafted maps filled with puzzles, traps, secrets, and dungeons. Each dungeon, cave, and well holds treasures and powerful bosses.

To survive, you must master a set of ninja abilities. Ninja Dash lets you sprint at lightning speed to leap across cliffs or dodge attacks—perfect timing can trigger Ninja Instinct. Shadow Clone summons a second version of yourself from your shadow, capable of striking enemies or activating switches. Shuriken Ki lets you conjure energy blades that ricochet off walls and trigger distant mechanisms. Explore the game now on the Google Play Store.
