Silt Early Access Arrives on Android

Snapbreak Games is launching its surreal underwater puzzle-adventure on mobile. The game, titled Silt, is currently in early access on Android, with a full release planned for January 26, 2026, across both Android and iOS.

The game blends horror and surrealism

You play as a solitary diver plunged into a monochrome nightmare inhabited by strange life forms, ancient machinery, and profound silence. There is no HUD, inventory, or cheerful mission log to guide your progress.

You must rely on your own instincts to advance. To solve the ocean’s riddles, you possess sea creatures, temporarily becoming them to reach inaccessible areas or trigger environmental responses. This unusual gameplay mechanic ensures plenty of unnerving encounters.

Silt emphasizes shadowy aesthetics and psychological tension, focusing more on drifting and observing than quick reactions and crafting. For a closer look, watch the early access trailer for Silt below.

As the trailer reveals, the art direction plays a crucial role in establishing the atmosphere. Every scene in Silt is meticulously hand-drawn by artist Mr Mead, featuring a sketchbook-like texture that enhances the overall surreal feel.

Silt is now available in early access

In the game, you navigate through layers of decay, forgotten history, and unsettling phenomena. The creatures you encounter are bizarre, often massive, and deeply disquieting. While you cannot fight them directly, you can seize control of their forms.

Ruins and long-hidden mysteries are scattered throughout the depths. A subtle narrative unfolds through environmental clues and subtle interactions, leaving the story open to interpretation.

Snapbreak Games, known for visually captivating titles like Lost in Play and Tiny Robots: Portal Escape, takes a darker and more experimental approach with Silt. The game is now accessible via early access in select regions. You can download it now through the Google Play Store.
