Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for the upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Prepare for new challenges, monsters, weapons, and a revamped Season Pass.
Pre-Season Sneak Peek:
Before Season 5 officially begins, a special treat awaits! The Chatacabra makes its debut on February 28th, preceding its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Upon the season's launch, Glavenus and Arzuros will also join the hunt.
Weapon Enhancements:
Expect significant balance adjustments to weapons, aiming for increased viability and enjoyment across all types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, simplifying targeting of breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward precise timing with enhanced power and more satisfying combos.
The Guard skill also gets a much-needed upgrade. Increased skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking, unlike previous iterations. Further details on additional weapon tweaks will be included in the full patch notes on March 6th.
More Season 5 Features:
Tired of a perpetually overflowing inventory? Season 5 introduces an Item Box Expansion as a Supply Item, providing an additional 250 inventory slots.
Celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th is a new material exchange feature. Hunters can trade special materials acquired from hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
