Arcane Lineage Boss List
King Slime
Considered more of a mini-boss, King Slime is less threatening than other bosses in Arcane Lineage, yet still poses a challenge for low-level players. Note that defeating this boss does not grant soul points.
King Slime Location
King Slime spawns after 100 Slimes are defeated on the server. It appears around the city nearest to where the last slime was killed, and players are notified through the Quest Board that the King Slime quest is active. The quest involves two steps:
- Find the King Slime
- Kill the King Slime
This quest has a 30-minute global cooldown on the server.
King Slime Fighting Strategy
With 400 HP (600 if Corrupted), King Slime has the lowest health among bosses. Its main tactic is summoning more Slimes, which can overwhelm your party if not managed properly. Additionally, it employs AOE poison attacks, so bring potions and cleansing abilities. After dealing with the summoned Slimes, focus on attacking King Slime directly, as its AOE attacks only inflict the Poisoned status without dealing direct damage.
Attacks | Energy Cost | Effect |
---|---|---|
Slime Creation | 1 | Summons a Slime to fight for King Slime. |
Crush | 0 | King Slime lunges forward, attacking a party member. |
Poison Eruption | 2 | King Slime throws out a burst of Acid, poisoning your party. This attack cannot be dodged or blocked. |
Scalding Spray | 3 | King Slime erupts with boiling hot liquid, poisoning your party. This attack cannot be dodged. |
King Slime Drops and Rewards
Defeating King Slime may yield:
- Random Tier 1 Equipment
- Slime Buckler
- Gelat Ring
Completing the King Slime event from the Quest Board rewards:
- Ferrus Skin Potion
- Small Health Potion
- Essence

Yar’thul, the Blazing Dragon
A fire-type boss, Yar’thul utilizes Fire and Inferno-based attacks, inflicting Inferno and Burning stacks that can make the battle very challenging without proper preparation. Yar’thul is resistant to fire and physical damage but weak to Hex damage.
Yar’thul Location
To confront Yar’thul, venture deep into the Desert to Mount Thul, an active volcano created by Yar’thul’s intense heat. Navigate through the volcano's dark corridors to find the Blazing Dragon at its heart.
Yar’thul Fighting Strategy
With 1200 HP (1800 if Corrupted), Yar’thul compensates for its lower health with high damage output. Most of its attacks apply Inferno and Burning effects, making this a race against time to defeat the dragon before succumbing to the flames. At 50% health, Yar’thul enters a second phase, summoning giant meteors that stun and apply healing reduction. The key is to end the fight quickly in this phase. Accessories like the Dragon Ring can ease this battle, and the Corrupted version gains lifesteal.
Attacks | Energy Cost | Effect |
---|---|---|
Inferno | 0 | Automatically inflicts the Inferno status effect on the party at the start of the battle. This attack cannot be dodged or blocked. |
Fire Claw | 0 | Yar’thul slashes with fire-imbued claws, dealing light damage. |
Magma Pillar | 2 | Yar’thul creates a pillar of magma, damaging and inflicting 2 stacks of Inferno and 5 stacks of Burn on anyone attacking through it. Lasts 3 turns. |
Blaze Core | 3 | Yar’thul consumes the party's Inferno stacks to heal itself. |
Blaze Eruption | 2 | Yar’thul slams the ground, damaging burning targets and applying scaling Inferno and Burning stacks. |
Magma Beam | 4 | Yar’thul charges a devastating fire beam for one turn, then unleashes it for massive damage and hits adjacent units. This attack cannot be dodged or blocked. |
Hellfire | 1 | Yar’thul sends out a wave of fire, damaging the whole party and applying 9 stacks of Burning. This attack cannot be dodged or blocked. |
Armageddon | 6 | Below 50% health, Yar’thul may summon a meteor, dealing massive damage, applying healing reduction, and potentially stunning the party. This attack cannot be dodged or blocked. |

Once an animal in the Deeproot Canopy, Thorian became corrupted and transformed into a towering abomination with many red eyes and tentacles. It curses those who come into contact with it, is resistant to most elements, but is notably weak to Holy damage.
Thorian Location
Thorian resides in the deepest part of the Cess Grounds, within the Deeproot Canopy. Head to the right side upon entering the Cess Grounds to encounter this formidable foe.
Thorian Fighting Strategy
With 2600 HP (3900 if Corrupted), Thorian requires a diverse attack strategy. If hit twice in a row with the same attack type, it heals 150% of the damage dealt, necessitating varied attacks from your party. Thorian is resistant to most damage types except Holy, which does 135% damage. Below 50% health, Thorian unleashes a devastating attack, inflicting Plague, Curse, and Hexed on the party, but this move has a 15-turn cooldown.

Metrom’s Vessel
Once a hero, Metrom’s Vessel now serves as a vessel for Metrom after being sealed in a Temporal Jail. This significantly weakens it, but it remains a formidable Raid Boss.
Metrom’s Vessel Location
Unlike other bosses, Metrom’s Vessel spawns on a global timer and requires a Void Key to access. Obtain the key by defeating corrupted versions of previous bosses, then wait for the server-wide notification of its spawning and location.
Metrom’s Vessel Fighting Strategy
With 10,000 HP (15,000 if Corrupted), Metrom’s Vessel is a true test of endurance, requiring 30 to 60 minutes to defeat. It has two phases with distinct moves and mechanics, including damage negation from black wings in the first phase. Destroying these wings increases its damage output, so timing is crucial. Metrom’s Vessel also summons Shadeblades, which must be quickly dispatched. In the second phase, its wings switch between Offensive and Defensive modes, altering its attack and defense capabilities. Effective coordination and constant application of debuffs and status effects are essential for success.
