Does Pity Carry Over in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium? Answered

Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium’s Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?

Developed by Sunborn, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics available on PC and mobile. A common question among players is whether the pity counter carries over between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.

Limited Banner Pity Carryover

Your pity counter and pulls from one limited banner in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium will transfer to the next limited banner. This means progress towards pity on one limited banner (e.g., the Suomi banner) will count towards another (e.g., the Ullrid banner), even if they run concurrently. If you're close to pity on one, switching to the other doesn't reset your progress.

This carryover applies to future limited banners, confirmed by Chinese server players. Pity accumulated on past limited banners will transfer to new ones.

Important Note: Limited vs. Standard Banners

However, this pity carryover only applies to limited-time banners. Progress on standard banners does not transfer to limited banners, and vice-versa.

Soft and Hard Pity

While the hard pity is set at 80 pulls, a soft pity system begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one gradually increase with each subsequent pull until you reach the guaranteed SSR at pull 80.

In summary, your pity counter progresses across consecutive limited banners in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, offering a strategic advantage. However, remember that this does not apply between limited and standard banners.
