Stealth plays a crucial role in completing certain quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, and the "Storm" quest is a prime example where sneaking around is your best strategy. To successfully navigate through "Storm" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, mastering the art of stealth is essential.
How to Start ‘Storm’ in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The "Storm" quest serves as a bridge between the Trosky Region and your first visit to the Kuttenberg Region, wrapping up several main quests. You'll start this quest under challenging circumstances, similar to those in "For Whom the Bell Tolls." You'll find yourself without armor, weapons, or even Saviour Schnapps, and your health and stamina are compromised due to prior torture.

Katherine also provides you with her dagger, equipping you to stealthily take down enemies. Your next move is to head to the top of the Crone in Trosky. Although guards patrol the area, they are spaced out enough that you can knock them out or use distractions to slip past them unnoticed.

Since this encounter doesn't affect the best ending, consider opting for a dishonorable approach if you're unsure about your combat skills, especially given your weakened state. After dealing with Toth, scour the room to retrieve everyone's belongings and crucial documents.
How to Escape Trosky in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Once you've managed Toth and reclaimed your gear, head back to the dungeon to meet the others. They will also gear up, and you'll be directed to escape through tunnels, making this part of the quest relatively straightforward.

How to Sneak Through the Hills in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The real challenge begins as you navigate through the hills in "Storm." Keeping your conspicuousness to a minimum is key, as guards will quickly alert others if they spot you. The difficulty is compounded by your lowered stats from the earlier torture, making stealth kills or knocking out guards more challenging.

Sneak up behind the guard guarding Mika, take him out, and then free Mika. This action saves your progress, and Mika will provide directions for your next objective.
How to Finish ‘Storm’ in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Screenshot by The EscapistThe final stretch of "Storm" requires you to follow a long path of stealth. Begin by visiting the locations marked on your map as per Mika's instructions. Then, head towards the edge of the region, moving east and southeast until you reach the main road in Apollonia. Stay on the side of the road, using bushes for cover to avoid detection by guards. Although the marked area on your map appears vast, you only need to reach its midpoint to trigger the ending cutscene. Utilize stones to distract guards and slip past them. Once the cutscene plays, your part in Trosky ends, and you'll move on to the Kuttenberg Region.
"Storm" is one of the quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* where stealth isn't just an option—it's a necessity. Prioritizing stealth skills and perks before this quest can significantly aid in avoiding detection.
