Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Multiple Endings Revealed

The *Assassin’s Creed* series began experimenting with multiple endings in *Odyssey*, embracing a more BioWare-style RPG approach. If you're curious about whether *Assassin’s Creed Shadows* follows suit, here's what you need to know.

Does Assassin’s Creed Shadows Have Multiple Endings?

The short answer is no. *Assassin’s Creed Shadows* does not feature multiple endings. Although you have the freedom to select different dialogue options during interactions with key NPCs, these choices primarily influence your character's personality rather than the main story's outcome. Every player will ultimately reach the same conclusion, regardless of the dialogue paths chosen.

The dialogue options, however, do hold some value. For example, you can shape Naoe to be more empathetic and less inclined towards violence, or craft a more aggressive persona who sees violence as the only solution. While the end result remains consistent, the journey to that end can vary slightly based on your choices. If you prefer to bypass these decisions altogether, you can enable Canon Mode, which removes the dialogue choices from the game.

It's also worth mentioning that certain side quests in *Assassin’s Creed Shadows* can have multiple outcomes based on your actions and dialogue with NPCs. These variations won’t impact the main storyline and the rewards may not differ significantly, but they can lead to unique experiences within the game. As with the main story, you can opt out of these choices by activating Canon Mode.

We hope this clarifies whether *Assassin’s Creed Shadows* offers multiple endings to its narrative. For more tips and insights on the game, be sure to check out The Escapist.
