Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves

Morph Painting restoration involves placing the correct paintings onto their designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and utilize the Levitator tool to position the painting correctly. The game usually automatically equips the Levitator, but if not, press Tab or D-Pad Left to select it manually.

Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated into the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle

Within the "Shadows of the Past" questline, players explore Thorncrown's Thessaleo Falls towers. The Resounding Rise tower contains a Morph Painting puzzle. Solving it involves (using the central painting as a reference):

Swapping the front-left and back-right paintings.
Moving the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left pedestal.
Moving the painting behind the right-side chairs to the front-right pedestal.

Upon completion, a chest appears, allowing progression through the quest.

Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle

The "Trials of Old" quest requires completing four trials near Porto-Veno Castle in Thessaleo Fells. The Trial of Wisdom features a Morph Painting puzzle where paintings must be arranged on pedestals to create a narrative sequence from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.

A simple method to confirm correct placement is to observe if the painting frame illuminates upon insertion. This shortcut bypasses the puzzle's core mechanic.
