Kuro Games has released the highly anticipated 1.4 update for its open-world RPG, Wuthering Waves. Entitled "When the Night Knocks," this update plunges players into a world of mystery and illusion, introducing new characters, weapons, story content, and events.

New Resonators Enter the Fray

Two new Resonators join the roster: the enigmatic and flirtatious five-star Camellya, and the adorable yet fiery four-star Lumi. Lumi becomes a permanent addition to the Afterglow Coral Store, while Camellya is a limited-time addition available during Phase I of the "End of the Lost Trailer" event. Explore the Somnium Labyrinth

The update introduces the Somnium Labyrinth, a challenging rogue-like adventure within the revamped "Somnoire: Illusive Realms" event. Players face perilous choices with a looming threat of encroaching darkness.

New Weapons and Customization

Two new weapons are added: the five-star Red Spring (Phase I) and the four-star Somnoire Anchor. Phase II will introduce the Stringmaster and Verity's Handle. A new weapon transmogrification feature, Weapon Projection, allows players to alter the appearance of select weapons, including the Somnoire Anchor and the Formless Series.

Expanded Story and Companions

The "Forking Path Among the Stars" companion story provides additional interactions with Camellya, while the new Echo, Phantom: Inferno Rider, also makes its debut.
