If you think *Arise Crossover* is just about attacking defenseless enemies with Shadow units to get stronger ones until you're out of things to do, think again. We've reached the endgame and noticed many skilled players struggling with progression, leveling up, and choosing the right Shadows. If you're among them, this guide is tailored for you.
How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover

In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands offers several recruitable Shadows and one formidable dungeon Shadow. The weakest unit you'll encounter is **Soondoo**, available from the start, while the strongest, **Mifalcon**, is found on the final Brum Island.

However, the key to power isn't just the type of Shadow, but their rank. **A Rank A Soondoo outshines a Rank D Mifalcon** due to its higher potential for growth. Higher-ranked units can level up further; for instance, **a Rank D unit tops out at Level 75, while an SS Unit can reach Level 200**. Your ultimate team would ideally be four SS-level Mifalcons, but the journey to get there is part of the challenge.
Arise Crossover Dungeon Guide

**Dungeon Portals** in *Arise Crossover* spawn every 30 minutes and remain active for 15 minutes. Even if you enter just before a portal closes, you can still complete the dungeon. These portals appear in various locations on each island with random difficulty ranks.
Start your game by assembling a team of **Rank D units** and tackle a **Rank D or C dungeon** on Leveling Island. This approach helps you build a solid team and possibly recruit a rare boss Shadow. **Dungeons are your exclusive source for rare and high-ranking common units**.

Whenever a portal spawns, **go for it**. Even if your team isn't strong enough, wait by the portal for a more experienced player to join. Many players can solo these dungeons and often don't mind helping others. This community spirit is essential for recruiting higher-ranking Shadows and progressing in the game. We've benefited from such kindness, moving from Rank C units to Rank A units and eventually reaching endgame. We encourage you to pay it forward as well.
Arise Crossover Weapons

During this Beta phase, **player weapons are largely ineffective**. They might offer some damage early on, but by the second island, their impact diminishes significantly. The **Iron Kando Blade**, the most powerful common weapon, costs 60 million and deals 516.1K damage, while your units can hit between 200 and 400 million. **Save your money for future updates** unless you're willing to spend extravagantly.
How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover

Wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, with only one player per server able to claim each. A server-wide message alerts you to new spawns, but not when mounts are claimed or disappear. **Mounts can appear in six different locations**, including behind the main islands and on smaller islands between them. Check the developer's map for exact spots.

You can't claim the same mount twice, and capturing attempts can fail. **Flying mounts are the rarest**, with a 10% spawn rate, while ground mounts are more common, and water mounts can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC. To get a mount, race to the spawn locations upon receiving the server message. While mounts aren't crucial for progression, a flying mount can significantly ease travel. We're still on the hunt for our flying mount!
