Authore: EricUpdate:Dec 18,2025

Samsung has unveiled its latest ultra-slim flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge. This model shares many similarities with the standard Galaxy S25 released earlier this year, but stands out with its remarkably slim profile—measuring just 5.8mm thick. It's also impressively lightweight at 163 grams. The device launches on May 30 with a price tag of $1099.99. Preorders are currently available through Amazon, which includes a complimentary $50 gift card. Additionally, preordering grants you double the storage capacity at no extra cost.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S25 Edge closely mirrors the S25 Plus. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor and features a 6.7-inch OLED display with integrated Galaxy AI. The camera setup omits the telephoto lens, instead offering a 12MP front-facing camera, a 12MP ultra-wide autofocus lens, and a 200MP wide-angle lens with 2x optical-quality zoom. Due to its slender design, battery endurance is somewhat reduced—Samsung claims up to 24 hours of video playback on a single charge.

The smartphone is available in three sophisticated color variants: Titanium Black, Titanium Icy Blue, and Titanium Silver. Each finish enhances the device's premium aesthetic, complementing its sleek architecture. The front camera is discreetly positioned as a minimal dot above the display.

Galaxy AI functionalities include automated note summarization and photo enhancement tools. If you're seeking a powerful yet lightweight and compact phone, the Galaxy S25 Edge presents a compelling option. It holds the distinction of being the slimmest S-series device Samsung has ever produced.

While some earlier ultra-thin phone models were prone to bending in pockets, the Galaxy S25 Edge addresses this concern through its titanium frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 screen protection. Whether it will claim the title of the market's leading smartphone remains to be seen—we await further testing and reviews.
