TiMi and Garena Partner to Launch Delta Force Mobile Worldwide

Garena's Delta Force: A Global Launch and PC Open Beta

Garena is bringing the tactical FPS, previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, to a global audience. A PC Open Beta kicks off December 5th, 2024, with mobile platforms following in 2025. Developed originally by NovaLogic and later taken over by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of COD Mobile), the game will now be launched in select regions by Garena. Cross-progression between PC and mobile is a key feature. The 2025 rollout will encompass Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.

What's in Store?

Delta Force offers two distinct gameplay modes:

  • Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air, with teams divided into four-person squads.
  • Operations: A three-person extraction shooter mode featuring high-stakes missions, loot scavenging, enemy encounters, and a race against the clock to reach extraction points. Players can acquire enemy gear and supplies, contend with bosses and restricted areas, and complete special missions. A rare item, the MandelBrick, unlocks exclusive skins, but its acquisition broadcasts your location to other players.

This new iteration boasts sharp, realistic graphics and retains the tactical depth synonymous with the original Delta Force (1998). Fans of the original will find much to appreciate.
