Teardown Adds Multiplayer and Folkrace DLC

Tuxedo Labs has exciting news for fans of their beloved sandbox game, Teardown. They've announced the introduction of a multiplayer mode and the launch of a new expansion, the Folkrace DLC. The Folkrace DLC is set to enrich the single-player experience with new maps, vehicles, and racing challenges. Players will have the chance to compete in diverse events, earn rewards, and customize their vehicles to conquer the tracks.

The multiplayer update will initially be available on Steam's Experimental Branch, allowing players early access to test the feature. Tuxedo Labs is actively seeking feedback, particularly from the modding community. Updates to the game's API will enable modders to adapt their creations for multiplayer use, ensuring a seamless transition into the new mode.

The development team at Tuxedo Labs has long aimed to incorporate multiplayer into Teardown, responding to a high demand from the game's fanbase. This announcement signifies the fulfillment of that vision.

Upon its debut, the multiplayer mode will be accessible through the "Experimental" branch on Steam, giving players the opportunity to dive into the new experience. Concurrently, the team will roll out API updates for modders, facilitating the integration of existing mods into multiplayer environments. Once the testing phase concludes, multiplayer will become a permanent fixture of Teardown.

Looking to the future, Tuxedo Labs has teased two more major DLCs in development, with more details to be announced later in 2025. This promises to keep the Teardown community engaged and excited about what's to come.
