Monster Hunter Now's Season 4: A Frosty Adventure Awaits!
Niantic has unleashed Season 4 of Monster Hunter Now, transporting players to a breathtaking winter wonderland. Prepare for icy challenges and exciting new additions designed to keep the hunt thrilling, even with virtually frostbitten fingers.
What's New in Monster Hunter Now Season 4?
This season introduces a frigid tundra habitat, complete with biting winds, snowdrifts, and a host of formidable monsters. Making their debut are Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex. Returning favorites include Barioth, along with smaller creatures like Wulg and Cortos. Tigrex will be a major opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these powerful beasts by completing urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Access to the tundra is granted upon completion of the prologue.
A powerful new weapon joins the arsenal: the Switch Axe. This versatile weapon seamlessly transitions between Axe Mode for powerful, sweeping attacks and Sword Mode for frenzied, close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing Chapter 2 of the pre-season story.
Season 4 introduces customizable Palico companions! Tailor their fur, facial features, and even bestow upon them the most outlandish names imaginable. AR functionality lets you bring your unique Palico into the real world for memorable photos.
Adding a social element, Friend Cheering allows players to send temporary health boosts to their friends. While helpful, there's a limit to the amount of health that can be gained through cheers.
