Gravity Co. has launched their latest game, Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse, on Android, and it's a thrilling blend of deckbuilding, roguelike, and RPG elements. In this game, you step into the shoes of an explorer emerging from a bunker 500 years after a cataclysmic war that nearly obliterated humanity.
The World Has Completely Changed… in the Game
Your mission is to resurrect civilization from its ruins. You start as one of the chosen explorers from the bunker, venturing into the chaotic new world of Eustea. This vast landscape is divided into over 100 zones, each with its own unique stories and bizarre historical quirks.
Survivors have formed pockets of humanity across the continent, but the semblance of old-world civilization is long gone. Some factions are vying for control, while others are simply struggling to survive.
Take a look at Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse in action:
Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse Is a Text-Based RPG with Roguelike Deckbuilding
Every decision you make in Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse carries significant weight. You'll encounter crossroads where you must choose whether to engage in combat, negotiate, or retreat. These choices lead to divergent paths, ensuring that your journey will be uniquely different from others.
The game offers multiple endings, where your actions might lead to saving a community, destroying one, or even meeting a quiet demise without leaving a trace. The butterfly effect is pronounced here, with even minor decisions potentially triggering major consequences.
Combat in the game is driven by a deckbuilding system, where you can choose from over 300 cards, 200 skills, and numerous pieces of equipment. You can opt for a soldier mode with modern weaponry or embrace the role of a medieval knight.
As you explore, you'll document everything you encounter, from strange creatures and ancient artifacts to curiously preserved books, all recorded in a pictorial log.
Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse is now available on Android. You can download it from the Google Play Store for $6.99.
