Get ready for a fiery showdown! Pokemon GO announces a Shadow Raid Day featuring the legendary Ho-Oh on January 19th, 2025. This marks the first Shadow Raid Day of the year, offering trainers another chance to catch this powerful Fire-type Pokemon.
The event runs from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, with increased shiny Shadow Ho-Oh encounter rates in five-star raids. Spin Gyms to receive up to seven free Raid Passes (five base, plus two bonus). Utilize a Charged TM to teach your Shadow Ho-Oh the devastating Sacred Fire attack (130 power in Trainer Battles, 120 in Raids/Gyms).
For enhanced rewards, a $5 event ticket boosts your Raid Pass limit to 15, increases Rare Candy XL drop rates, provides a 50% XP bonus, and doubles Stardust earned from raids (all bonuses active until 10 pm local time). An Ultra Ticket Box ($4.99) bundles the event ticket with a Premium Battle Pass.
