Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free) will launch next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title combines the turn-based combat of its predecessor with roguelite elements, promising endless replayability within its monster-collecting framework. The Steam page highlights 10 dynamic biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is available for free on mobile. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile and if its release coincides with the Steam and Switch versions. You can add Coromon: Rogue Planet to your Steam wishlist here. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly engaging. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems perfectly suited for short bursts of play. In the meantime, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS here.
