Mastering Crew Recruitment in Citizen Sleeper 2: A Comprehensive Guide

This guide details how to acquire every crew member in Citizen Sleeper 2. Note that while recruitment is usually straightforward (accepting their offer to join), success in certain Contracts or events may influence outcomes. Initial Crew:

Serafin and Bliss are automatically added to your crew and are not tied to any achievements. While Serafin remains with your crew throughout, he's generally unavailable for Contracts.

Recruiting Juni:

Juni is initially a temporary crew member encountered on Hexport. To recruit Juni permanently:

1. Complete the "Idle Minds" clock at Solheim Records.
2. A cutscene featuring Juni will trigger.
3. Complete the subsequent Contract and agree to allow Juni to rejoin your ship.

Recruiting Juni unlocks the "Data Archaeologist" achievement.

Recruiting Yu-Jin:

Find Yu-Jin on Far Spindle after completing the "Getting Wracked" clock at Gaia's Gyre (requires ordering a Wrack four times, costing 16 Cryo). Complete the Contract offered by Yu-Jin to permanently add him to your crew.

Recruiting Yu-Jin unlocks the "The Freelancer" achievement.

Recruiting Luis:

During the "Aphelion Beacon" Contract, choose to leave Yu-Jin behind to recruit Luis.

Recruiting Luis unlocks the "Signalchaser" achievement.

Recruiting Kadet:

Encounter Kadet on Far Spindle after completing the "Spindle Core" clock at the Spindle Core location. This unlocks a new drive and the Stripline Express location. Complete the new options at Stripline Express, triggering a cutscene. Finally, travel to the Scatteryards (a different area of The Belt) to recruit Kadet.
