MTGA: 'The Brothers' War' Unveils New Cards

Aetherdrift, Magic: The Gathering's upcoming set, features a multiverse death race. We have an exclusive preview of two new cards: Cloudspire Coordinator and Count on Luck.

Cloudspire Coordinator, an uncommon card, showcases the red-white color pairing. Representing the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem, it focuses on vehicle piloting. Its 3 power allows it to crew vehicles, and its activated ability generates Pilot tokens for additional crewing.

Count on Luck, a rare 3-mana enchantment, is a straightforward, all-red card. At the start of each of your turns, you exile the top card of your library and may play it that turn – a form of "impulse draw," providing extra cards for a mono-red deck.

Additionally, we've got a look at Count on Luck's extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. First-Place Foils, shiny golden cards, are exclusive to a randomized buy-a-box promo pack included with each Aetherdrift box. All rares in the set, plus 10 full-art lands, receive this treatment.

Aetherdrift launches in physical and digital formats on February 14, with prereleases starting February 7. Further details on set mechanics are available here.
