Metaphor: ReFantazio - How To Beat Faithwight Magileto

Conquering the Faithwight Magileto in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Metaphor: ReFantazio features challenging mini-bosses in its dungeons, often requiring Squad combat. The Faithwight Magileto in the Spire of Blind Faith is a prime example, posing a significant threat even to well-prepared players. This guide outlines its weaknesses and provides strategies for victory.

Faithwight Magileto: Weaknesses and Abilities

This level 50 enemy can summon additional level 50 foes, making it ill-advised to engage below level 45. Its arsenal includes devastating dark and light magic, both single-target and AoE (Megidolaon), amplified by passive damage buffs. It also employs Soul Scream for multiple Press Turn icons per turn and can summon skeletal minions.

These summoned skeletons wield powerful slashing attacks and dark magic, further complicated by their potent healing capabilities (restoring the Magileto to full health). Their weakness, however, is Strike attacks.

Strategies for Victory

Even at level 50, this battle is exceptionally challenging. Preparation is key:

  • Archetype Selection: Prioritize Archetypes resistant to Dark and Light damage (Warlock, Thief). Skill Inheritance is crucial for maximizing Strike skills (from the Brawler Archetype). The Magic Knight's Dark Dodge and the Healer's Light Dodge are highly recommended.
  • Skill Focus: Prioritize Strength-based Archetypes and equip them with Strike attacks to maximize Press Turn icons. Ensure at least two party members possess party-wide healing spells. Tetrabreak is advisable to counter Tetrakarn.
  • Combat Tactics: The fight involves a degree of luck, as consecutive Megidolaons are nearly fatal. Dark and Light Dodge skills mitigate this risk. Eliminate summoned minions swiftly to prevent their healing. Dekaja can dispel enemy buffs. Aim for at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide heals per turn.

This encounter demands strategic precision and a bit of fortune. By focusing on Strike attacks, mitigating magical damage, and quickly neutralizing summoned allies, you can increase your chances of overcoming this formidable foe.
