BioWare's Focus Shifts from Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC to Mass Effect 5
Remastered Dragon Age Collection Remains a Possibility
According to Rolling Stone, BioWare has confirmed no plans for Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC. With the game's release, BioWare has redirected its resources to the next Mass Effect title. The developer considers The Veilguard a finished product.
While specifics regarding Veilguard DLC remain undisclosed, Epler commented on the potential for a remastered Dragon Age collection, similar to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. He acknowledged the significant challenge posed by the proprietary game engines used in the original trilogy, stating, "It’s something that’s not going to be as easy as Mass Effect, but we do love the original games. Never say never."
