EA Play Bids Farewell to Two Titles in February 2025
Get ready, EA Play subscribers! February 2025 marks the departure of at least two games from the EA Play roster. Madden NFL 23 will be removed on February 15th, followed by F1 22 on February 28th. This removal doesn't signify the end of online functionality for these titles; however, it does mean they'll no longer be accessible through your EA Play subscription. Subscribers are encouraged to maximize their playtime before these titles are removed.
This isn't the only change coming to EA's offerings in February. UFC 3's online services will cease operation on February 17th. The game's availability on EA Play after this date remains uncertain, but the loss of online functionality significantly impacts the overall experience.
Games Leaving EA Play:
- Madden NFL 23 – February 15th
- F1 22 – February 28th
While this news might disappoint some, EA Play subscribers can still enjoy newer installments in these franchises. Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4 will remain accessible, and UFC 5 is even joining the lineup on January 14th. The addition of newer titles helps mitigate the loss of older games, a common occurrence with subscription services. So, while saying goodbye to some favorites is always bittersweet, the EA Play library continues to offer a diverse range of gaming experiences.
