Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, ethereal beings offering players helpful items and abilities. The Earth Sprite, the most beneficial but elusive Sprite, can be found only in the new Chapter 6 map's Battle Royale mode (including Zero Build and Ranked).
Earth Sprite Locations:
The Earth Sprite boasts nearly two dozen potential spawn points, each marked by a solitary lantern (similar to the one shown in the image below). However, only two Earth Sprites appear per match, making finding one a challenge. You may need to check multiple locations.
The image above highlights all 22 possible Earth Sprite locations on the Fortnite Chapter 6 map. These locations include areas near:
- Flooded Frogs (North and Southwest)
- Magic Mosses (North and West)
- Demon's Dojo (Southeast)
- Whiffy Warf (Southeast)
- Pumped Power (Southeast)
- Twinkle Terrace (Southeast)
- Lost Lake (South)
- Brutal Boxcars (South)
- Eastern biome border (East)

Offering Weapons to the Earth Sprite:
Locating an Earth Sprite is the challenging part. Once found, simply interact with it (using your interact button). This will relinquish your currently held weapon, which completes the Week 1 Quest and rewards you with 25,000 XP. In return, you'll receive a random Legendary weapon. While finding the Sprite requires patience, the high-rarity weapon reward makes the effort worthwhile.
Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
