Farlight 84 Drops New Expansion With Pets Called ‘Hi, Buddy!’

Farlight 84's "Hi, Buddy!" expansion launches today, introducing a host of exciting features. The star of the show is the new Buddy System, adding adorable and helpful pets to the battlefield.

Meet Your Buddies:

The Buddy System introduces two types of companions: Common and Archon Buddies. Common Buddies, easily captured, offer useful abilities. Rarer Archon Buddies boast significantly more powerful skills. These Buddies are acquired using Buddy Orbs, found scattered across the revamped maps. Each Orb can hold up to six tactical items, adding strategic depth.

Ten Buddies debut in this expansion: common Buddies Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy; and Archon Buddies Time Dominator (capable of manipulating the Safe Zone) and Storm Empress (who summons powerful tornadoes).

The "Hi, Buddy!" update also includes:

Sunder Realms Map Revamp: Experience a refreshed Sunder Realms map featuring new terrain, structures, and landmarks, including ramps, enhanced buildings, giant duck statues, and floating boulders.
Tactical Core System: Earn Trait points as you level up to enhance hero skills and unlock new abilities. Trait Activation Cards are required to maximize these abilities.
New Events: Participate in the Buddy Showdown and Rare Consolidation Event for rewards like skins and loot boxes.
