Exclusive New: PlayStation

A PlayStation studio, recently formed from former Bungie employees, is developing a MOBA titled "Gummy Bears." Initial development began at Bungie at least three years ago, around 2022. This project, significantly different from Bungie's previous titles, is designed to attract a younger audience.

Unlike traditional MOBAs, Gummy Bears reportedly uses a percentage-based damage system inspired by Super Smash Bros., replacing health bars with a damage meter. High enough damage results in characters being knocked off the map.

The game will feature three character classes—Attack, Defense, and Support—along with multiple game modes. Its visual style is described as cozy, vibrant, and "lo-fi," a departure from Bungie's established aesthetic. While the release date remains unknown, the game is likely still years from launch. The transition of development to the new PlayStation studio follows Bungie's 2023 layoffs and subsequent employee integration into Sony.
