Riyo Games' nostalgic homage to classic JRPGs, Threads of Time, is coming to Xbox and PC! This 2.5D turn-based RPG, reminiscent of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy, was unveiled at Tokyo Game Show 2024's Xbox showcase. Currently in development for Xbox Series X/S and Steam, it blends retro charm with modern polish. While a release date remains unconfirmed, PS5 and Nintendo Switch versions are also under consideration.

Threads of Time is poised to compete with Sea of Stars as a spiritual successor to Square Enix's Chrono series. Riyo Games, an indie studio, describes their creation as a fulfillment of a childhood dream: "to craft retro-infused RPGs that awaken treasured childhood memories."
