Depth Roguelike Unveils Android Beta, Shadow Emerges

ChillyRoom's Shadow of the Depth: Open Beta Now Live!

ChillyRoom, the studio behind popular titles like Soul Knight and Meow Hunter, has launched the open beta of their upcoming action roguelike, Shadow of the Depth, on Android. Excitingly, there will be no data wipe, allowing players to retain their progress from beta into the full release, slated for December 2024.

Currently, the open beta is available in select regions: the U.S., Canada, Brazil, UK, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. Players in these regions can download and play the beta for free. A global launch is expected later this year.

Beta Rewards:

Players who log in during the open beta period (until December 5th) will receive 200 diamonds as a thank you for their participation.

Gameplay:

Shadow of the Depth blends classic action roguelike mechanics with a medieval setting. Players take on the role of Arthur, a blacksmith's son seeking revenge against monsters who destroyed his village. He's joined by swordsmen, hunters, and mages in their descent into a monster-infested abyss.

Expect intense combat, challenging traps within randomized dungeons, and formidable boss encounters. With over 140 passive skills and a robust talent system, players have extensive customization options for their playstyle. The game features single-player gameplay with controller support.
