Costumed Minccino Joins Pokémon GO for Fashion Week 2023

The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, bringing returning costumed Pokémon and a new addition: Minccino and Cinccino in stylish outfits!

When is Costume Minccino Available?

Costume Minccino and Cinccino debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025. These fashionable Pokémon sport rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. Costume Minccino has a Shiny variant, unlike Costume Cinccino. The event also features costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms.

How to Catch Costume Minccino:

Unlike previous releases, obtaining Costume Minccino is limited to two methods:

One-Star Raids:

Costume Minccino appears in easily soloable One-Star Raids. However, One-Star Raids also feature Costume Shinx and Furfrou, so multiple attempts might be necessary.

Paid Timed Research:

A $5 (or regional equivalent) Paid Timed Research ticket offers encounters with Costume Minccino, along with XP, Stardust, and a new avatar pose. This is the guaranteed method to obtain one.

Field Research Tasks:

While Field Research Tasks offer event-themed Pokémon encounters, Niantic hasn't specified if Costume Minccino is included. It's likely to be less reliable than the other methods.

Obtaining Costume Cinccino:

Evolve your Costume Minccino using 50 Minccino Candy and an Unova Stone to obtain Costume Cinccino.
