How to Become a Shinigami in Hollow Era

During the initial choice between Shinigami and Hollow, you need to act swiftly. Choosing Hollow involves breaking your chain, while opting for Shinigami means the chain will slowly break over time. Every two minutes, a section of the chain will break, and if you let it break entirely, you'll become a Hollow. Hollow Era Shinigami Quests Guide

Your initial Shinigami quest requires you to purify 6 Lost Souls, aligning with the Shinigami's role in maintaining the balance between life and death. Following this, you can accept your next task from an NPC near Hurt Shinigami, which involves delivering a letter to a Doctor friend near the hospital.

This early phase is perfect for familiarizing yourself with your abilities. Consider purchasing a $1,000 random sword of power from a Urakara shop. If funds allow, utilize the bus stop for $200 as a teleport/fast travel option, as the game's map is expansive.
