Firaxis Games Unveils Civ 7 Post-Launch Roadmap
Firaxis Games has revealed its post-launch roadmap for Civilization VII (Civ 7), detailing upcoming content following the game's February 11th release. The roadmap outlines a mix of paid DLC and free updates.
Paid DLC: New Leaders
The initial paid DLC wave in March will introduce Ada Lovelace and Simon Bolivar as playable leaders.
Free Updates: Expanding the World
March's free updates will significantly expand the gameplay experience. Key additions include the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest as new geographical features.
Future Content:
Beyond March, Firaxis plans to release additional content, including two more leaders, four new civilizations, and four world wonders. New events and challenges are also in the pipeline, though release dates remain unannounced. Further content drops are slated for October 2025 and beyond.

Firaxis also acknowledged several features that didn't make the initial launch but are currently in development:
- Multiplayer team support
- Expansion of multiplayer to 8 players
- Player selection of starting and ending ages
