Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed Shadows trailer showcases enhanced PC features. The trailer highlights support for upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, ultra-wide monitor compatibility, ray tracing (RTGI and RT Reflections), and extensive configuration options for lower-end systems. A built-in benchmark tool is also included for performance testing.
Minimum specifications for 1080p at 30 FPS include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8GB) GPU. High-end requirements for 4K, 60 FPS with ultra settings and ray tracing demand an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, and an RTX 4090 (24GB) graphics card.
Ubisoft partnered with Intel for optimization, promising strong performance on Intel processors. Post-launch AMD performance analysis is planned. The community anticipates improved performance compared to previous entries, building on the smoother experience seen in Mirage compared to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.
Assassin's Creed Shadows launches March 20th on PC and consoles.
