TenTree Games has released Mecharashi, a strategic mecha RPG now available on Android. Developed by BlackJack Studio, the team behind Langrisser Mobile, this turn-based sci-fi game features a unique combat system focused on destroying individual mech components.
Line up troops
Set on the war-torn island of Milkhama, Mecharashi pits corporations and nations against each other using custom-built mechs, each piloted by distinctive characters with their own personalities and backgrounds.
The core gameplay revolves around its part-destruction mechanic. Each section of a mech—limbs, arms, torso—is a separate tactical target. You can cripple movement by taking out legs, disable weapons by destroying arms, or completely shut down a unit by targeting its core.
Mecharashi emphasizes deep customization. Players can assemble squads by mixing and matching various chassis, arms, legs, and weapons to fit different mission profiles. A comprehensive painting system is also included, offering over 120 colors from the start to personalize your units.
The game underwent a closed beta test in early July, allowing the developers to address bugs and polish the experience prior to launch. You can watch the latest trailers for the game below.
Will you try Mecharashi?
The game's visuals stand out in the mobile mecha genre, presenting battles with a sense of gritty, heavy-metal realism.
Multiple game modes are available. The story campaign immerses you in Milkhama's intricate conflicts, where you lead a mercenary unit caught in events far larger than itself.
Mecharashi is free to play and available now on the Google Play Store.
