Indie developer Theo Clarke's new game, Plantoons, lets you turn your backyard into a strategic battlefield. Similar in spirit to Plants vs. Zombies, Plantoons offers quirky gameplay with a unique twist.

The Plantoons Gameplay

In Plantoons, your garden becomes a gladiatorial arena where plants fight off waves of invading weeds. Unlike simpler tower defense games, you'll level up and upgrade your plant warriors as you progress through increasingly difficult weed invasions.

The game begins by choosing a plant from your arsenal and deploying it strategically. Your objective is to defend against increasingly aggressive weed attacks (hopefully less terrifying than zombies!).

As you advance, you'll collect reward cards to enhance your plant army. These cards allow you to boost attack power, strengthen defenses, or increase pollen production. Strategic plant placement within the meadow is key to building an effective defensive line.

Each plant boasts unique abilities and stats. Successfully completing challenges expands your deck in the Card Bank, allowing for customization and strategic setup enhancements.
