Monster Hunter Now is buzzing with excitement as Niantic introduces a new feature test called Monster Outbreaks. This test aims to gather player feedback to fine-tune the feature before its official release. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or new to the game, this event is your chance to dive into the action and provide valuable insights.
When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?
Mark your calendars! The Monster Outbreaks testing phase is scheduled for April 26th to 27th. The event will run twice daily on both Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., local time. This gives you multiple opportunities to join the fray and experience the new feature firsthand.
During the event, specific outbreak points on the map will be teeming with 8-star Black Diablos. The challenge? Team up with other players to take down a total of 100 Black Diablos at each outbreak spot within the one-hour window. Remember, this count is per location, not globally, so every outbreak point is a fresh start.
To participate, you must be at least Hunter Rank (HR) 11. Note that the party feature won't be available; only in-person group hunts will count towards the goal. Outbreak points are clearly marked on the map with a special icon. Once you spot one, tap on it to view details and sign up on the roster to coordinate with other hunters.
Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!
The mechanics of the event are intriguing. If you and three other hunters take down one Black Diablos, it counts as four towards the 100-monster goal. Should your group reach the 100 mark before the time runs out, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the hour.
Successful groups that hit the 100-monster target will be rewarded handsomely. You'll receive 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, if you use the sign-up roster, you'll earn a special Outbreak Test I Medal.
