Embarking on the side quest "A Good Scrub" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* can lead you down a path of intriguing bathhouse-related adventures. One such task involves finding something infested with fleas for Betty. Here's a detailed guide to help you navigate this quest seamlessly.

Pick Up 'A Good Scrub'

Your journey begins when you speak to the innkeeper in Kuttenberg about potential work, leading you to Betty, the bathhouse owner. It's crucial to know that Kuttenberg has two bathhouses, and Betty's is located in the southeast part of the city. Once you find her, mention that you heard she has work available, and agree to head to Grund to find Matsek.

Matsek is reluctant to be seen with the girls he's supposed to escort to the bathhouse. To resolve this, you'll need to approach him in the courtyard he's standing in. There, you'll find three girls at a table. Engage them by saying you're there on Betty's behalf and accompany them back to the city.

Promote the Bathhouse

Upon returning with the girls, Betty requests your assistance in spreading the word about the bathhouse to attract more customers. You'll work with her to craft an effective pitch, which you'll then shout out at the grain market, horse market, vintners' street, and merchants' street. This task must be completed during the day, so if it's too late, wait until morning before proceeding.

Clean Up the Bathhouse and Finish 'A Good Scrub'

After promoting the bathhouse, your next task is to clean it up before the alderman arrives for an inspection. Time is of the essence here; failure to complete the cleaning quickly enough could result in the bathhouse being shut down, preventing you from picking up the subsequent quest, "Ill Repute," from Betty.

Finding Fleas for 'Ill Repute' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Once the bathhouse passes inspection, engage Betty in conversation again. She'll discuss the ongoing issues, including the competition with another bathhouse for the city's favor. To sway the decision, you need to make the councillor abandon the competing bathhouse. Start by learning his dislikes from Meaty Mary, Katcha, and Little Lida.

For the next step, you'll need Chamomile Brew to add to the wine cask on the second floor of the rival bathhouse. Lida will reveal the councillor's preference for fragrant oils only after you provide her with a noblewoman's dress from a tailor. To sabotage further, head to the third floor, lockpick a cabinet, and steal the oils.

Katcha will mention the past flea problem at the bathhouse, which leads to the quest for the flea-infested item. Head to the east gate of Kuttenberg City, where you'll find a small camp of beggars. Search the sacks there to find a flea-infested blanket.

With the flea-infested blanket in hand, return to the bathhouse and go back to the room where you added the Chamomile Brew to the wine. When no one is watching, interact with the baskets and pour the fleas into Councillor Naaz's laundry basket and the clean laundry basket.

If you struggle to find the flea-infested item, remember that completing just one of the three tasks (Chamomile Brew, fragrant oils, or fleas) will be enough to make the councillor leave, allowing you to complete the quest and proceed to others like "Axe from the Lake."
