Aspyr's upcoming release of Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles for modern consoles features a surprising playable character: Jar Jar Binks. A new trailer showcases Binks wielding a large staff in action-packed gameplay.

This isn't the only new addition; Aspyr has unveiled ten new playable characters, with more to come, expanding upon the original game's roster. The 2000 release of Jedi Power Battles featured iconic characters and locations from Episode I: The Phantom Menace. This updated version aims to capitalize on nostalgia while adding fresh content. Besides customizable lightsaber colors and cheat code support, the expanded character selection is a key highlight.
