Nouveau personnage dévoilé dans Star Wars épisode 1 : Jedi Power Battles

La prochaine sortie par Aspyr de Star Wars Épisode 1 : Jedi Power Battles pour les consoles modernes présente un personnage jouable surprenant : Jar Jar Binks. Une nouvelle bande-annonce présente Binks brandissant un grand bâton dans un gameplay plein d'action.

Ce n'est pas la seule nouveauté ; Aspyr a dévoilé dix nouveaux personnages jouables, et d'autres sont à venir, élargissant la liste du jeu original. La sortie 2000 de Jedi Power Battles présentait des personnages et des lieux emblématiques de l'Épisode I : La menace fantôme. Cette version mise à jour vise à capitaliser sur la nostalgie tout en ajoutant du nouveau contenu. Outre les couleurs de sabre laser personnalisables et la prise en charge des codes de triche, la sélection étendue de personnages est un point fort.

La bande-annonce révèle le gameplay de Jar Jar Binks, mettant en valeur son style chaotique et ses lignes vocales caractéristiques. Bien que certains fans aient pu imaginer un scénario "Darth Jar Jar", il utilise un bâton au lieu d'un sabre laser.
