A word game that trains your erudition as you play, challenging you to build words from scrambled letters.

Words from Words and its counterpart, Contrary, are word puzzle games where you form words from the letters of another word. Discover words, progress through levels, boost your erudition, enhance your memory, and learn the meanings of any unfamiliar terms you encounter.

This English-language game is free to play and works offline; an internet connection is only needed to access hints.

This word puzzle offers engaging intellectual entertainment for a wide audience, helping to expand your English vocabulary, test spelling skills, and benefit memory, erudition, concentration, and mental acuity.

⭐ The Main Game. Find new words using the letters from a single starter word.

⭐ The Contrary Game. Deduce the single word from which a list of other words was made.

⭐ Word of the Day. A daily challenge to guess the featured word and earn a bonus.

The goal is to find all hidden words and complete every level. This requires focus and patience, but engaging levels and daily tasks ensure you’re never bored.

GAME RULES

✅ Words from the Word.

You are given one long word. Your task is to find the target words for that level. Tap letters to form words. If the word is valid and was one of the intended words, it will appear in your guessed list. For example, from the word “ADVICE”, you can create words like: ice, idea, dive, cave, or diva.

✅ The Contrary Game.

A list of words appears on screen, all assembled from the letters of one hidden word. Your task is to identify that word. We only use singular nouns. For example, given the words: harp, heart, carpet, you must determine they were formed from the letters in "CHAPTER".

✅ Word of the Day.

A daily crossword-style task where you uncover hidden words. Completing it rewards you with game coins and reveals the level's ultimate word.

Earn coins for solving words and use them to purchase hints.

The current version includes 40 levels of the main game and 70 levels of the reverse game, with varying difficulty and word lengths. To finish the game, you’ll need to discover over 1200 words. We regularly add new levels and challenges.
