These rewards, inspired by the 2025 Zodiac Sign, will be available to players who purchase or are currently on a six-month subscription by January 31, 2025.

Since 2018, World of Warcraft has been rewarding players who subscribe for six or more months with exclusive in-game incentives. These rewards often align with the lunar Zodiac signs, such as the Auspicious Arborwyrm for 2024, the Year of the Wood Dragon. Now, World of Warcraft is gearing up for 2025 with the first new six-month subscription offer, featuring the Timbered Sky Snake, a flying mount for retail WoW that celebrates the Year of the Wood Snake, and the Timbered Air Snakelet, a matching pet for Cataclysm Classic. These items are available to those who purchase a bulk subscription of at least six months, though they can also be purchased individually from the in-game store for $25 and $10, respectively. The Timbered Sky Snakelet, the corresponding pet for modern WoW, is available for $10 on the Battle.net shop but is not included in the subscription offer.

Players already on a recurring subscription will also receive these rewards. Both items will be added to qualifying Battle.net accounts no later than January 31, 2025, and must be redeemed before the same date in 2026, when they will likely be replaced by items celebrating the Year of the Fire Horse.

In addition to these rewards, players opting for a 12-month subscription will receive the Startouched Furline, Gigantic Grrloc, and Charming Courier mounts for modern WoW, along with the Lava Drake mount and Swoopy pet for Classic. These subscribers will also automatically receive the six-month subscription offer for July, making the 12-month subscription particularly appealing for mount collectors.

World of Warcraft's 2025 roadmap is packed with exciting updates. Retail WoW will see two major patches starting with 11.1, and there's a possibility of player housing by year's end.
