The fun doesn't end with just catching Vanillite. Evolve it into Vanilluxe during the event or up to May 4th, and it will learn the powerful Charged Attack, Avalanche. In Trainer Battles, Avalanche boasts a 90 power, and in Gyms and Raids, it delivers 85 power, making it a valuable asset to your battle team.
For those eager to immerse themselves further in the frosty festivities, a Community Day Special Research ticket is available for just $2. By completing the tasks, you'll not only encounter Vanillite with a special Might and Mastery-themed background but also enjoy additional Vanillite encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and more exciting rewards.
There’s also a Timed Research opportunity extending through the following week, offering another chance to catch Vanillite with the exclusive backdrop. Additionally, Field Research tasks themed around the event will give you opportunities to earn Stardust, Great Balls, and more encounters with Vanillite. You might even stumble upon tasks that lead to a Vanillite with a special event background.
Throughout the event, several bonuses will be in effect to enhance your gameplay. You'll earn triple XP for catches, double Candy for each Pokémon caught, and Trainers level 31 and above will have double the chance of receiving Candy XL.
