How to Craft a Fishing Rod

To embark on your fishing adventure, you'll first need to craft a Fishing Rod at the Supplies Workbench. Here's what you'll need to gather:

  • 20 Logs: Obtained by chopping down trees.
  • 10 Copper Ingots: Crafted by smelting Copper Ore and Charcoal in a furnace.

Ensure you've unlocked the "Essential Tools" under the Crafting section in your Memetics menu to access the Supplies Workbench. To start crafting, press 'F' to add the fishing rod to your crafting queue. The crafting time will be shown on the lower left of your menu. Once it's complete, don't forget to collect your Fishing Rod from the workstation.

To maximize your fishing success, consider these prime locations known for their diverse and abundant fish populations:

  • Wild Dog Isle: A hotspot for a wide variety of fish species.
  • Brookham Dock: A favorite among players for its reliable catches.
  • Harborside Bridge: Offers the unique opportunity to catch both freshwater and saltwater fish.

How to Store Your Caught Fish

In Once Human, fish, like other perishable items, have an expiration date. However, you can extend their freshness through various storage methods:

  • Refrigerator: Keeps your fish fresh for a few extra days.
  • Meat Drier: Dries the fish, preserving it indefinitely.
  • Specimen Rack: Mounting the fish here keeps it fresh and edible as long as it's displayed. Note that you can only showcase one creature at a time.
  • Fish Tank: Offers limited space but can house multiple fish based on their size, with a total capacity of four.

For an enhanced gaming experience, consider playing Once Human on a larger screen using your PC or laptop, complete with the precision of a keyboard and mouse, through BlueStacks!
