I've been using the Kindle since its earliest model, and I've found it to be superior to other reading methods. It's not that there's anything wrong with traditional books, but the Kindle's ease of use and form factor have made reading more enjoyable and frequent for me.

The e-ink technology used in Kindles allows for reading in any lighting condition, mimicking the look of actual paper. It's energy-efficient, using power only when turning pages, using the backlight, or with Wi-Fi on. In Airplane mode, a Kindle can last weeks or even months between charges. I often forget where I've stashed my charging cable because it's needed so infrequently.
