Tony Hawk Insists Bam Margera Joins THPS 3+4

Bam Margera, the iconic skateboarder and Jackass star, will indeed be featured in the much-anticipated Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

PlayBagley revealed that the game was considered complete when Tony Hawk himself reached out to Activision to request Margera's inclusion. Despite initial resistance from the developers, Hawk's persistence paid off, ensuring Margera's presence in the final product. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Margera's journey has been marked by well-publicized struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, including multiple rehab stints. He was also dismissed from Jackass Forever and faced legal issues, including a restraining order from Jackass director Jeff Tremaine following alleged threats.

The recent buzz about Margera's involvement was further fueled when he and Tony Hawk shared a video of themselves skateboarding together, hinting at his return to the gaming world.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game overcame significant hurdles following the merger of the original series developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard, which had initially threatened to scrap the project.
