Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 Release Date Announced; Spin-Off Series to Debut Ninth Jedi Story

Exciting news from Star Wars Celebration: fans can mark their calendars for October 29, 2025, when Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 hits Disney+. This latest installment will bring nine new short films crafted by renowned Japanese anime studios such as Studio Trigger (known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (famous for Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q. Each studio brings its unique flair to the Star Wars universe, promising an unforgettable viewing experience.

Volume 3 will not only introduce fresh narratives but will also continue beloved stories from previous volumes. Kamikaze Douga's "The Duel," Kinema citrus Co.'s "The Village Bride," and Production I.G.'s "The Ninth Jedi" are all set to return, weaving further into the expansive Star Wars tapestry.

Speaking of "The Ninth Jedi," fans were treated to a special announcement from writer and director Kenji Kamiyama at the Celebration. He revealed that Kara's saga will continue in an exciting new spin-off series, expanding the lore of the Star Wars: Visions universe with longer, more detailed stories. While details remain scarce, we do know that Kara will reunite with Juro in the 'Child of Hope' episode featured in Volume 3.
